The Marshalltown Community School District (MCSD) and Marshalltown High School (MHS) Athletics Department are excited to announce that registration is now open for the annual Bobcat Outing, scheduled for Thursday, June 18.
This highly anticipated community event brings together alumni, supporters, local businesses, and fans for a day of golf and camaraderie in support of Bobcat student-athletes and athletic programs. The outing will once again take place at the American Legion Memorial Golf Course, continuing a valued tradition in a local setting.
The Bobcat Outing is a 4-person best shot golf outing, offering participants a fun and competitive format while supporting a meaningful cause. Each year, the event draws strong participation from across the community and raises vital funds to enhance opportunities for students.
Proceeds from the outing directly benefit high school’s athletic programs, supporting equipment needs and overall program development. Participants can expect a day on the course featuring team play, on-course contests, prizes, and opportunities to connect with fellow Bobcat supporters.
Flight & Pricing Information:
Morning Flight:
Shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.
Red Team (Corporate Sponsor) $100 per golfer - $500 per team
Blue Team (Non Sponsored Group) $70 per golfer - $280 per team
Afternoon Flight:
Shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.
Red Team (Corporate Sponsor) $100 per golfer - $500 per team
Blue Team (Non Sponsored Group) $70 per golfer - $280 per team
Both flights include green fees, cart, and event participation. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
Registration for the Bobcat Outing is available by paper entry form only. Participants can pick up a registration form at the MHS Main Office or contact the MHS Athletic Office for assistance. Completed entry forms and payment must be returned by June 4, 2026, to the MHS Main Office.
